He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Rogers. He is survived by: his mother Buelah Baker Rogers; his children, Robert Rogers (Amanda) and Charity Justice; his grandsons, Colin Rogers and Isaac Rogers; and his siblings, Tim Rogers and Vicki Rogers-Bryant. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested donations to assist with expenses.
