He is survived by: his son Stephen Eldon Scruggs Jr. Steve of Corbin, KY.; his wife Jean Gilkerson Scruggs; his siblings, Bob Scruggs of Rupert, WV., Curtis (Doris) of Lewisburg, WV., Ronnie Scruggs of Rupert, WV. and Patricia Dietz of Rupert, WV.; and his siblings' children, Theresa Dietz, Lisa Bowyer, Renee Tasker, Joe Dietz, Bobby Scruggs and Christopher Scruggs.
