He was predeceased by: his wife Vickie Lanham Lipscomb; his daughter Amy Montis Lipscomb; his parents, Virgil Lipscomb and Mattie Laney Lipscomb; and his sisters, Doris Lipscomb and Betty Sue Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his son Charlie; and his sister Loretta Brown of New Castle, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
