He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Sue Smith Witt. He is survived by: his father Gilbert "Randy" Witt of Princeton; his son Dakota Chase Witt; his daughter-in-law Shannadoah; his granddaughter Declan Thomas Witt; his brothers, Thomas Gilbert Witt (Lisa) and Robert Clifton Witt; his niece Brenna; and his friend Tina Witt Alley.
