She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul DeVasier and Maude Simmons DeVasier. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Sam Martin; and her children, Bob Martin, George Martin (Louise) and Ruth Martin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Midway College in her memory.
