It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Vanderpool of Corbin, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Vanderpool and Evelyn Bowling; his son Matthew Daniel Vanderpool; and his granddaughter Katelynn Marie Vanderpool. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Vanderpool of Corbin; his children, Justin Wayne Vanderpool (Mary) of Stamping Ground, John Wynn (Tosha) of Corbin, Jeannie Woody (Ed) of Columbia and Valerie Spencer (Shannon) of Georgetown; his brother Glenn Vanderpool of Hazard; and his grandchildren, Matthew Vanderpool, Thomas Tudor, Olivia Tudor, Jenna Woody, Ava Woody, Justin Thomas Vanderpool, David Spencer, Evan Spencer, Emily Spencer and Olivia Spencer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
