He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lloyd Gay and Molly Trainer (Davis). He is survived by: his children, Christi Gay Laureano (Chris) of Cadiz, Robert Gay Jr. (Kimberly) of Corydon and Travis Gay (Morgan) of Uniontown; and his siblings, Paul Gay of Indiana, Lloyd Davis of Tennessee and Jeri Givens (David Davidson) of Kentucky. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
