She was predeceased by : her parents, William Leo and Mary Etta Devers Cissell; her husband John R. Portman; her son John Richard "Rick" Portman; and her siblings, Larry Cissell, Mary Lorene Cissell and Margaret Alice Cissell.
She is survived by : her son William Anthony "Tony" Portman of Cox's Creek; and her siblings, Anna Catherine Spalding (Bob) of Loretto, Jane Spalding (Gene) of Loretto, Mary Lynn Lyvers (Brad) of Bardstown, Howard Cissell (Phyllis) of Loretto, Phillip Cissell (Diane) of Shepherdsville, Frankie Cissell (Nancy) of Bardstown and Johnny Cissell (Linda) of Loretto. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
