He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankie Furrie and Thomas Charlton Furrie; his half-brother Charlton Eugene Furrie; and his nephew Thomas Furrie. He is survived by: his wife Alma Roby Furrie; his daughters, Terri Linn Krause (Michael) of Lexington, KY and Kelli Furrie Drake (Paul) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Emily Drake McElroy (Scott) of Paducah, KY and Scott Boyce Drake (Kelly) of Lexington, KY; his great grandchildren, Ella, Drake McElroy, Colton and Emma Drake; and his sister Beverly Skaggs (Don) of Bardstown.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkway Baptist Church (2580 Springfield Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004).
