He was predeceased by: his parents, William Montgomery and Josephine Montgomery; his former wife Virginia Montgomery; and his siblings, Jane Hoctor, William Montgomery, Dick Montgomery, Jack Montgomery, Pat Montgomery and Harold Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Shields Montgomery; and his children, Robert Montgomery, David Montgomery (Kathy) and Myra Lee. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
