With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ray Eli of Crofton, Kentucky, born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Eli and Hazel Morgan Eli; his son James Martin "Marty" Eli; and his sisters, Dorothy Jane Dotty and Josephine Eli.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Carol Willoughby Eli; his daughter Jennifer Rena Griffith (Ed) of Hanson, KY; his brothers, Robert D. Eli (Marilyn) of Henderson, KY. and Jack Eli (Vivian) of Sharon, PA; and his granddaughters, Jessica Brown (Stevie) of Madisonville, KY. and Julia Griffith (Mark) of Madisonville. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
