He was predeceased by: his father Donald Nelson Gilliland, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Amanda C. Thomas; his daughter Afton Blair (James) of Knoxville, TN; his sister Annette Alder (Alan) of Crofton, KY; and his grandchildren, Rhayna "Sugar" Tatum and Atlas Blair. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
