It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Meacham of Crofton, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis W. Johnson and Martha Susan Baker Johnson; her husband Shelby Chesten Meacham; and her siblings, John Frank, William "Bill", Lloyd Johnson and Alberta Johnson Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Meacham (Jane) of Hopkinsville, Kavin Meacham (Mary Ellen) of Hopkinsville, Linda Sanders (Ed) of Paducah and Patsy Bell (Jim) of Hopkinsville; her sister Clarice Carpenter of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Larry Dale Meacham, Crystal Hightower, David Crowe, Nathan Crowe, Cindy Powell Lee, Lisa Lee, Stacy Hight and Trinity Powell; her great grandchildren, Mackensie Meacham, Dakota O'Steen, Mishel Crowe, Nicholas Crowe, Emily Schafer, Abby Lee and Hannah Lee; and her great great grandchildren, Sylas Crowe and Eden Lee.
