He was predeceased by: his son Robert Daugherty; and his siblings, Auburn "Buster" Daugherty, Weldon Daugherty and Shirrel Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Baize Daugherty of Cromwell; his children, Darrell Phillip Daugherty (Patti) of St. Cloud, Patricia Harrison (Bill) of San Jose and Shirley Albers (Neil) of Astoria; his brother-in-law Milford Johnson; his grandchildren, Denika Dennis (Johnny), Jason Daugherty (Amanda), Misti Daugherty (Matt LaMastus), Justin Albers (Libby), Sarah Smith (Eric), Amanda Harrison and Billy Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Kenzie, Ethan, Skylar, LillyAnn, Parker, Kelsi, Karra, Madison, Adrian, Brant, Tripp, Erika, Emily, Anna and Brett.
