He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Mae Fetters Lemons; his parents, Edward Lemons and Pauline Ralston Lemons; his son Steven Eugene Lemons; and his stepson David Lee Gilkison.
He is survived by: his sons, John William Lemons (Tonia) of Cynthiana, Donnie Edward Lemons (Lisa) of Georgetown and Thomas Wayne Lemons of Berea; and his stepdaughter Sharon Ann Huffman of Lexington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
