It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Hobday (Cynthiana, Kentucky), who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howe Hobday and Carrie Barnes Hobday; his wife Joan Harp Hobday; his grandson Dr. David French; his siblings, William Hobday and Violet Williams; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth "Corky" Harp and Gene Harp.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Ross (late Kenny); his grandsons, Rodney Ross (Jenny) and Michael Ross (Britt); his great grandchildren, Madison French, Rachel French, Taylor Ross, Makenzie Ross, Jackson Ross, Micah Ross and Molly Ross; his sisters-in-law, Penny Harp and Ann Harp; and his friends, Amber Soard and Madison Kiskaden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building (531 E Pike St, Cynthiana, KY 41031).
