He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garrett Lewis of Hyden and Polly Lowe Lewis; his sister Polly Lowe Lewis; his children, Devin Lewis of Cynthiana, Austin Lewis of Tonawanda, Brent Lewis of Cynthiana, Roger Allen Lewis, Sharissa Lewis of Hyden, KY., Dusty Wise of Hyden, KY. and Misty Wise of Hyden, KY.; his siblings, Carlos Lewis of Texas and Georgia Pyron of Texas; and his daughter Sherry Howard of Lexington. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
