She was predeceased by: her parents, Dessie Walter Bennett and Dixie Marie Orten Bennett; her brother Walter Bennett; and her son Donald Ray Bennett. She is survived by: her close friend Andrew Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; her children, Kimberly Crick of Madisonville, KY, Gerald Bennett (Sheila) and Darrell Bennett (Marcie); her grandchildren, Chelsey Ruth Bennett, James Stagner, Chantal Holtzclaw (Derrick), Justin Bennett (Ashley), Austin Bennett, Kelsey Howton and Colby Crick; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Stagner, Madasyn Grace Bennett, Kadyn Ty Bennett, Trey Holtzclaw, Emersyn Holtzclaw, Lane "Francois" Lucus, Kiyan "Cupcake" Sisodiya and Karleigh Alvey.
