He is survived by: his daughter Heather L Ries Dayton Ky; his siblings, Dan Ries (Ginny), Barbara Litzler (Kevin) and Deborah Phelps of Virginia; his son Chris Ries (Tammy) of Somerset Ky; his stepsons, Brian, David and Jason Weinrich; and his pets, Ada and Woodford. He is also survived by 6 nieces, 2 nephews.
