She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben A. Johnson and Myrtle Fouts Johnson; her husband Hubert Johnson; and her sons, Burlin Johnson and Gene David Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Ernestine Meade (Grover), Christine Morris (Douglas), Rosa Hampton (David), Royal Johnson, Doral Johnson (Fayetta) and Dorothy Meade (Gary); and her siblings, Gene Bo Johnson, Corma Tackett and Inez Bentley. She is also survived by twenty six grandchildren, fourty four great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.
