He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Osborne and Lillian Pearl Osborne (Caudill); and his siblings, James Osborne, Ralph Osborne, Stevie Osborne and Edna Ruth Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Elizabeth Potter Osborne; and his siblings, Stanley Osborne (Patricia) of Elwood, Paul Osborne (Maxine) of Pikeville, Homer Osborne of Dorton, Chester Osborne (Nancy) of Virgie and Susie Newsome (David) of Pikeville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
