Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Lou Steele of Dover, Kentucky, born in Mason, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 84, on August 9, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Steele; and her parents, Wilma Tabb and Clemo Tabb. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beth Riggins; her grandsons, Ian Riggins (Brittany) and Jacob Riggins (Samantha Kennard); and her great grandchildren, Ashton, Adalyn and Graham Riggins (family: Janice Barnett Gifford). She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dover Christian Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. She was a member of Miss Ola's Circle Women's Church Group, member of Fernleaf Homemakers, serving as secretary for the group, member of Order of Eastern Star, Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), assisting weekly at Meadowview Regional Hospital, and volunteered and worked food drives for the community.
