It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Clay (Dwale, Kentucky), who passed away on August 19, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odd Clay and Alice Clifton Clay; his wife Mable Shepherd Clay; his son Gary Clay; and his siblings, Tom Clay, Charles Clay, Vernon Clay and Ruth Blanton.
He is survived by: his children, James Clay of Prestonsburg, KY, Regina Wakeland of Harold, KY and Ella Mae Clay of Dwale, KY; and his sisters, Vernie Clay of Dwale, KY, Ruby Clay of Dwale, KY and Phyllis Clay of Dwale, KY. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
