James Robert Causey Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Causey Jr. of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Marie Causey and James Robert Causey Sr.; and his siblings, Tommy Causey, Ricky Randall Causey Sr., Peggy Wynn, Wanda Lambert and Nancy Maupin.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Causey; his sister Rebecca Causey; his nephew Clinton Causey; and his close friend Bob Phillips.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the West Family Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mary Todd Park.
