He is survived by : his mother Carol Sue Bates Smith of Eddyville; his wife Gwen Marie Scharphorn Nichay of Eddyville; and his siblings, James Lee Suggs of Paducah, Rose Renee Russell of Lawrenceburg Tn and Natalie Nichay of Kuttawa. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and other family members and close friends.
