He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Deason and Mable Latham Deason; and his daughter Lisa Loving. He is survived by: his wife Thalia McCormick Deason; his children, Angie Gibbs (Pat), Bobbie Chewning, Randa Putnam (Chris), Rachelle Boggess (Steve), Julie Jenkins (Lee), Tonia Cardwell, Ray Deason (Melinda), Anthony Deason (Cory), Michael Gibbs, Darrell Wheeler (Rebecca), Justin Cardwell (Tara) and Heath Cardwell (Dawn); and his siblings, Wanda Gilkey, Mary Ackerknecht, Janice Deason and Arvil Ray Deason. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral Home (1133 US-62, Eddyville, KY 42038). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
