He was predeceased by : his parents, R. P. Whittington and Verble Whittington; and his sisters, Melinda Whittington Sollman and Sarajean Whittington Ethridge. He is survived by : his wife Sally Hayes Whittington; his daughters, Sarah Hayes Anderson (Andy) of St. Charles, Illinois and Frances Lauren Gaddie (Brandon) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Axel, Afton, Fancy Anderson, Ruben, Wake and Olin Pierce Gaddie; and his brother Rodney Whittington (Kathy) of Princeton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
