He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father William Howard Freeman; his sisters, Charlotte Freeman Vaughan and Cynthia Thompson Turner; his wife Tammy Freeman of Elizabethtown, KY; his sons, Brandon, Charles "Chip", Matthew and Nathan; his mother Kathryn Virginia Thompson; and his sisters, Connie Eads (Charlie) and Karen Owens (John). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
