He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Wockenfuss; and his parents, Hebert Wockenfuss and Ardella Weisenberger Wockenfuss. He is survived by: his children, James Wockenfuss, Melissa and Alicia Wockenfuss; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Kimberly, Maddie, Adoria, Brooke, Alona and Cassie; and his brothers, Duane, Jim, John, Gary, Jared and Gene Wockenfuss. He is also survived by several great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chism Family Funeral Home (769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, KY 40175). The military honors will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
