He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Samuel Bowling and Hazel Green Bowling; his wife Linda Jaye Henson Bowling; and his siblings, Hazel Corley, Phylis Ward, Sandra Kaye Hollins and John Bowling.
He is survived by: his children, Pierson Bowling (Tony) of Lexington, David Bowling (Mandi) of Cloverport, James Bowling (Angela) of Elizabethtown, Crystal Blanton of Elizabethtown and Elizabeth Newton (Harvey) of Boston; and his grandchildren, David Bowling, Alyssa, Jessi, Neina, James, Jamie, Caleb, Zach, Jacob, Steven and Emily. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trowbridge Funeral Home - Boston (12497 Boston Rd, Boston, KY 40107). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Little Brick Cemetery (340 Wilson Creek Rd, Boston, KY 40107).
