He was predeceased by : his father Harry C. Hibner, Sr.; and his brother Harry C. Hibner, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Brown Hibner; his children, Gary L. Hibner, Jr. (Fannie) of Radcliff, Natasha Haskins (Christopher) of Lexington, Ericka Walls (Taheed) of Radcliff and Alesha Baker (Calvin) of Colorado Springs; his grandchildren, Aniyah Hibner, Cameran Haskins, Talaysia Seals, Taliyah Seals, King Arthur, Zion Arthur, Tristen Haskins, Trinity Haskins, Autumn Baker, Jeremiah Seals, William Baker, Jasiah Hibner, Jacelyn Hibner, Mateja Hibner, Adele Baker, Eliyah Haskins, Javen Haskins and Christopher Haskins; his mother Geraldine Hibner of York, PA; and his brothers, Timothy Hibner (Germaine), John Hibner, Paul Hibner, Lawrence Martin (Bridgette) and Stevie Hibner.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Percell & Sons Funeral Home (120 Haycraft St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephens Church (757 S Woodland Dr, Radcliff, KY 40160). A burial was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Ky Veterans Cemetery.
