With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Kiefer of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on July 25, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her sons, John and George; her parents, George W. Kipfer and Florence E. Kipfer (Kister); her siblings-in-law, Clarence, Raymond, Eugene Kiefer, Stanley Siegwald, Thelma Siegwald (Kiefer), Mary Agnita Kiefer (Fackler) and Peggy Kiefer (Graviss); and her cousin Ruby Klingler.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Betsy) and Joseph (Debra); her sister-in-law Ruth Kiefer (Senn); her grandchildren, Martin Kiefer, Rebecca Kiefer and Angela Kiefer (Nicholas Callahan); and her cousins, Peggy Whiteford, Judy Pierson Fredricks, Vivian Pierson and Wes Pierson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosse Funeral Home (1355 Ellison Ave, Louisville, KY 40204). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael (2141 Lancashire Ave, Louisville, KY 40205). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial gifts may be made to Mass of the Air, Queen's Daughters, or Dare to Care Food Bank, all in Louisville, or Feeding America – Kentucky's Heartland in Elizabethtown.
