He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Churchman and Vivian Churchman. He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughter Marie Unger (Mike); and his grandson Thomas Unger.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Baptist East Palliative, Hosparus or Mt. Holly United Methodist Church.
