She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benjamin Colgan and Edith Beulah Stafford Colgan; and her brother James Colgan. She is survived by: her husband Bill Rawlings; her children, Sam Mason (Amanda) of Morehead and Tammy McDavid (Brian) of Kingsport, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Landrick Mason, Milyn Mason, Sam McDavid and Cacey McDavid; her siblings' children, Jordan, Allyson, Kim and Cathy; her great-niece Emily; her brothers, Charles "Shug" Colgan (Patricia) and Bill Colgan (Berty); and her sister-in-law Janice Colgan. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
