He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Russell and Jewel Tumey Russell Davidson; his brothers, Charles Russell and Tommy Russell; his stepfather Herschel Davidson; his father-in-law Gerald Robertson; and his niece Donna Mitchell.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kristi (Michael Walsingham), Lori (Jason Traynham), Dusti (Mike Herman) and Tami (Scott Walton); his wife Linda Russell; his mother-in-law Myra Robertson; his sister-in-law Yvonne Russell; and his grandchildren, Kyli, Keylan, Kasyn Herman, Macy Traynham, Luke, Reid Walton and Pearl Jean.
