He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Alexander Zahler and Constance; and his brother Kevin Zahler. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Matthew (Corey), Scott (Dawn) and Amanda Morehart (Michael); his grandchildren, Josiah Zahler, Caroline Hauser (Hunter), Carson, Gavin, Malone Zahler, Olivia, Charleigh, Paden, Edith and Lucy Morehart; his great grandchild Archer Hauser; and his siblings, Al Zahler, Walter Zahler (Andi) and Jan McCoy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New City Presbyterian Church (4400 Floral Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45212). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bright Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, we would prefer those funds to go to the Zahler Family Scholarship.
