It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold L. Hayes (Fort Wright, Kentucky), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his daughter Linda Robinson. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Hayes (Betty); his sons, Paul Hayes (Mary) of Maplewood, NJ, Jim Hayes (Patty) of Deansboro, NY and Ken Hayes (Leslie) of Edgewood, KY; his son-in-law Hank Robinson of Louisville, KY; and his sister-in-law Shirley Hayes of Boston, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was passionate about supporting the Louisville Public Library, U.S. National Parks, Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville KY and the American Heart Association.
