She was predeceased by : her parents, William Lewis and Capitola "Cap" Simmons (Hall); her daughter Phyllis Mansfield; and her siblings, Bill Simmons (Lou), Mary Lewis Osborne (Joe) and Caroline Spaulding (Russell).

She is survived by : her husband Malcolm "Mike" Fife of Fountain Run, KY; her children, Victor Fife of Fountain Run, KY, Scott Fife (Ann) of Fountain Run, KY, Tracy Guffey (Ralph) of Scottsville, KY and Todd Fife (Jane) of Bowling Green, KY; her son-in-law Charlie Mansfield of Mossy Grove, TN; her grandchildren, Zed Mansfield (Rachel), Avalon Gourlay, Adam Fife and Malcolm Mathison Fife; and her great grandchild Charlie May Gourlay.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margie's memory may be made to Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
