He is survived by : his parent Alecia Wood Maxey; his wife Thelma Scott Maxey; his children, Reeda Maxey Brooks (Orval) of Glasgow and Morris Maxey, Jr. (Terra) of Austin; his grandchildren, Bradley Anderson, Marcus Maxey and Emma Kate "Katie" Maxey; and his sisters, Connie Childress (John) of Lamb and Sheila Houchens (Jimmy) of Glasgow.
