He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Phyllis Burnette (Larry) and Jamie Smoot (Janice); his grandchildren, Mark Hockensmith, Amy McCann, Melanie Chapman, Zachary Tipton, Kristopher Smoot and Brian Smoot; his great grandchildren, Logan Chapman, Amber Chapman, Madisyn McCann, Cameryn McCann and Landyn McCann; and his daughter Charlene Tipton. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
