It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George B. Hanrahan Jr. (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Pat Hanrahan. He is survived by: his friend Theresa Edwards of Madison; his sister Susan Hanrahan McCain (Mike) of Willisburg; and his sibling's children, Michael William McCain, Jr. (Nora), George Hanrahan McCain (Laura Leigh), Terrence Patrick McCain (Hillary), Fergus Cooper McCain (Shelby), Patrick James Buege (Kelly), Mary Carrico McCain Courtney (Shane) and Kathleen Marie Buege. He is also survived by nephews and nieces; and his countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to George's favorite charities: The Salvation Army, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), or the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).
