She was predeceased by: her siblings, James Keith, Phyllis McMican and Mary Kearl; and her grandson Lloyd Edmond. She is survived by: her spouse James Jackson Smither Thompson; her children, Eddie Thompson (Marcella), Jackie Sue Phillips (Henry), Tommy Thompson (Marsha) and Randy Thompson (Judy); her sister Jackie Nell McMican; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Ben, David, Ross, Drew Thompson, Melissa Milligan, Kate Greenwell, Lauren Hightower, Jennifer Quarles, Jack and Will Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Peaks Mill Christian Church or Peaks Mill Cemetery.
