He was predeceased by: his parents, William Amos Hicks and Mary B. Hicks Rigsby (Richardson); his wife Nancy Jane Hicks; and his grandson Eric Shumate. He is survived by: his children, Kristi Calvert of Franklin, KY, Mark Hicks of Franklin, KY and Sandra Shumate of Franklin, KY; his daughter-in-law Tina Hicks Vaughn of Franklin, KY; and his grandchildren, Amy Hicks Ross, Cassie Haley, Brandon Austin, Brittany Pearson, Amber Hall, Zachary Reece and Devin Reece. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 325 West Cedar Street, Franklin, KY. 42134 to help with Mr. Hick's final expenses.
