She was predeceased by : her parents, Waverly Buchanan and Delta Kidd Buchanan; her husband LeRoy Catching; her sister Doris Ann Fox; and her nephew George Hunter, Jr..

She is survived by : her sisters, Faye Buchanan of Phoenix, Dorothy Hunter (George) of Frenchburg and Mary Buchanan of Mt. Sterling. She is also survived by one nephew and five nieces.
