He is survived by: his wife Carol Harper March (Bynum); and his children, Luke Bunting (Dani) of Scotland Neck, Billy Bunting (Angie) of Greensboro, Bobby Gene Harper, Jr. (Wanda) of Caruthersville, Lawrence Ray Harper of Hillsboro, Frankie Valentine Harper (Brenda) of Haw River and Jo Ann Harper of Aulander. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
