He was predeceased by: his parents, William Derren and Laverne Humphreys Kimbell; his wife Alma Morgan Kimbell; his son Allen Lynn Kimbell; and his grandparents, James "Jim", Vernie Roper Kimbell, George and Lavada Jackson Humphreys.
He is survived by: his son Danny Kimbell (Cathy) of Fulton, KY; his grandchildren, Kristen Lynn Rushing (Michael) of Murray, KY, Emily Anne Kimbell of Frankfort, KY and Sam Kimbell (Krissy Johnston) of Wingo, KY; his great grandchildren, Madison Rushing of Murray, KY and Delaney Rose Kimbell of Wingo, KY; his niece Sharon Stoltenow of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepgrandsons, Jason Brann of Fulton, KY and Jeremey Moreland of Union City, TN; his sister Evelyn Ozella Kerr (Don) of Sioux Falls, SD; and also, Kimberly Curry and Eugene Rashid.
