It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Vance in Georgetown, Kentucky, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Vance; her parents, Arnold Alcorn and Hazel McQueen Alcorn; her siblings, Arnold Alcorn, Jr. (Lucy), Joyce Lovely, Barbara Sargent and Madlyn Powers; and her son-in-law Mason Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Ray Vance (Danielle) of Vermont, Steven Allen Vance (Jennifer) of Georgia, Judy Osborne (Mike) of Owen County, Barbara Sharp (Mason) of Georgetown and Rita Rice (George) of Chesterfield, Virginia; and her brother Donald Alcorn of Maryland.
Due to Governor Beshear's mandate, services will be private. Face coverings and proper social distancing are required for all who attend.
