He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Archer and Gladys Archer (Sowder); and his siblings, Charlotte Walker, Thelma Householder and Raymond Archer.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Archer (Elliott); his children, Susan Conner (Steven), Tonya Boyd (Phillip) and Jonathan "J. D." Archer (Shannan); his grandchildren, Jared Thomas Baker, Elisha Boyd, Lucy Conner and Preston Archer; and his siblings, Barbara Petitt, Mildred Baird and William "Bill" Frank Archer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
