She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Costello; her parents, Alice Spence (Pettigrew) and Harry B. Spence; and her brother Fritz Yockey. She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Greathouse (Tommy), Corinne Costello and Ashley Velfling (Randy); her grandchildren, Isaac Taylor, Buckley Greathouse, Paige Velfling, Spencer Costello and Wesley Greathouse; her brothers, Bruce Yockey and David Yockey; and her friends, Ellen Roth and Kim Zumwalt.
