He is survived by: his wife Joanna North Smith; his children, Stephanie Smith (Denise Hodel), James Smith (Danielle) and Jessica True (Jeffrey); his brothers, Eddie B. Smith (Brenda) and Westeray Thomas Smith (Vivian); his grandchildren, Corey Smith, Casey Neal (Jennifer), Evelyn Smith (Madelyn Smith) and Isabella True (Witten True); and his great grandchildren, Jordin Sparks and Taylar Neal.
